Conrad, I think you've uploaded the wrong list. This isn't a list of the festival ales, it looks like JDW's Sept-Nov guest ale list. I thought some were familiar.

And, in Conrad's defence, the link on the JDW festival site leads to the list which he has uploaded, so the fault seems to lie with them. As Millay suggests, the beers listed aren't the ones I remember from the booklet I perused on Thursday, and it includes some that I saw on the bar, including Nelson "Powder Monkey" which was vile (perhaps more of a problem with the line than the ale, but I won't be rushing after another one).

Paul has the reason, if anyone can point me at an online list of the ales I will do my best to correct it. Sorry about that, my fault for assuming JDW could be vaguely competent.

They've not made it easy to find but here's a link. http://www.jdwrealale.co.uk/ales/list

Thanks Millay, for both pointing out my mistake and finding the correct list.

Hopefully I should have that corrected now, let me know if there are any mistakes in that and I will add the Ciders when I have the info.

    Cheers.

I picked up the Tasting notes yesterday that I'm sure has all the ciders - I'll post a list later (I left it at home this morning).

    Bulmers No. 17 (4%) (588ml Bottle)
    Bumble Berry (4%)
    Mr Whitehead's Strawberry Cider (4%)
    Weston's Twist (4%)
    Two Trees Farmouse Perry (4.5%)
    Thatchers Cheddar Valley (6%)
    Healey's Hard Cyder (6.5%) (500ml bottle)
    Black Dragon (7.2%)
    Weston's Old Rosie (7.3%)
    Broadoak Premium Perry (7.5%)

If you want even more things to tick off, there are also 3 Festival Mini Pies - Steak & Abbot, Chicken & Vegetable and Mini Shepherds Pie.

Thanks Roger, I think we will forgo the pies for now, but maybe one day I will attempt to extend the empire, Pies Galore has a certain ring to it.

Thatchers Cheddar Valley appears to be a returner. Also appended Cider to Black Dragon as I am assuming Black Dragon is the brewer (we keep the brewers and drink name separate).

Just googled it as the print on the pump clip picture in the tasting notes is pretty small. Looks like it is brewed by someone called Gwynt Y Ddraig...
