(Note the address in its listing is wrong. Correct address is Lichfield Road)

    Hi Hoppy,

Are you sure you have the right pub? I can see the pub in the picture on Google street view and it is on Aston Road North.

In fact - The Albion at Aston website.

Don't blame me Blame Brum's CAMRA own mag. The picture is correct but they got the wrong address so your version is therefore correct! So I got the pub right

    (Shame on you Brum CAMRA!)

Please do your thing.. report it closed.

Are you sure the mag didn't just get the picture wrong and actually another Albion? The web site is still offering accommodation? I'm not sure which I trust less

Trust me.. I know it is right Albion, Aston as there are no another Albion around in Aston. In fact it is only pub bearing "The Albion" in whole of Birmingham. CAMRA simply got the address wrong (Lichfield road is mere few mins walk from Aston Road North where the pub is)

Joking.. I overlooked it actually.. at least it is miles away from Aston.

In fact I am going to Brum tomorrow to revisit pubs which I haven't been in for years including The Gunmakers Arms, Bath Street's reportedly closed on PG. Any closed pubs may be missed by forumers and quick pint at Wellys

I wouldn't of posted it if there hadn't been a picture, some of the listings on the site are so dodgy. Still Birmingham is beginning to look fairly solid, I like it when most of the listings have little lit up icons on the left. Look forward to any corrections coming after tomorrow, hopefully just to tell us stuff has re-opened, even if it is a JDW

    Hi God..

Gunmakers Arms confirmed closed. I had sneaky preview of new Wspoon in Perry Bar.. To my horror, what a dump and very dodgy place to drink! And it is not even half finished (Opening on this Fri) Anyway nothing to report pub closed. Bit boring day really..
