After a rough count I estimate that I've been to 55 plus 3 closed ones. I don't purposely seek them out so any I visit are just by chance during a crawl of the area.

WE ARE THE BREADMEN - UP THE BEES
I never try to seek out spoons but they are handy for a breakfast and early morning drink, and also if i am running out of proper pubs to do.
I have now done 105 spoons, the only one that i know has closed is the one in Barnet.
I always have Spoons on my crawl list as they make a good reserve and of course offer cheap nourishment along with a decent pint - if I do it, great. If I don't, then no tears.
No idea how many I've done but I'll hazard around 50...one day I'll get all my pubs on a proper spreadsheet or summat so I can do filtering to answer these kind of questions!
I have the 2010 Wetherspoon directory, and have spent the last few hours going through my excel pub list to check them and have 110. Any we have been in for a meal only are not included as my pub list only contains pubs I have had a drink in. I was quite impressed as before I started I thought it would be in the region of 50 - 60.
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.
Just checked the JDW online directory and I'm a bit surprised to find that I've done 106, two of which are now closed.
I thought it would be a lot less than 100.
A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Sorry to bump this old thread but my Dad has done all of them apart from a couple of air side airport ones and recently opened ones/pending opening. I now know where my addiction/OCD to completing things comes from.
In comparison to him I'd say I've done approximately 40..... but then I don't get free train travel anymore and nor am I retired.
The Watchman will be a new one opening this spring in the former New Malden Police Station, now there's a change of use for you!
This isn't your dad is it? http://www.ucl.ac.uk/~ccaajpa/pubs-spoons.html
