I've not been, but the Sussex Arms should get a few votes from regular reviewers!!!

Checked it out on saturday - very impressive line of pumps & beers. Also liked the nearby Prince of Wales, which now has 8 handpumps, 6 of which were serving Sat lunchtime, review to follow. In between the Rifleman was an attractive little pub but 2 of the 3 staples are Courage & Youngs Best, the Twickenham alternative was good, but £3.45pp.

Don't get out as much as I should, and was out of area so don't know if there are several of these in the South East but its been a while since I've been in a pub like the Royal Oak Rusper

My pub visits have been curtailed by engine repairs which have proved more extensive than expected,as was the invoice

However POTM goes to The Euston Tap which in it's short existence has been visited by many PuG regulars.I was impressed by the relatively modest ale pricing policy although I didn't venture onto the keg selection where you pay for the privilege.

September will see the start of a slow drift down the southern Grand Union, where there are still some waterside watering holes I haven't been in.

Our London Midland trip to London tomorrow will include the Euston Tap which we have enjoyed a couple of times before.

We have a list of 14 pubs, and it will be an effort to get them all in, but really want to get to pubs new to us which will be Southampton Arms, Junction Tavern and Pineapple as a group, Craft Beer Co, and Brew Wharf. The others on my list have been visited before but will be fitted in if possible. Should be a good day.

Arrive Euston 11.17 and depart 19.54

Our August pub of the month is the Gardeners Rest in Sheffield.
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.

A couple to go at in Hampshire: The Oak at Bank and POTM The Royal Oak at Fritham, 6 well kept beers straight from the barrel and all brewed locally, joy.

My POTM for August was the White Horse in Hedgerley, the Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead CAMRA pub of the year for 2011. Haven't been for a couple of years and was well worth the trip into the Bucks countryside. White Horse,
