Name change from the Pig and Whistle to THE GREAT NORTHERN

The pig and whistle at stanningley leeds has changed its name to, the great northern, and has a better selection of cask ales and activities with darts and dominoes monday, dels music quiz & play your cards right on tuesday night, where you could go home with £400 and a full tummy with a free supper, pool night on wednesdays, poker night thursdays,live acts & karaoke on a friday night, live mid range bands saturday night and our locally famous bingoki on sunday evenings,so, with our new kitchen opening in july 2011 and serving good old traditional sunday roasts, its well worth a visit to drop in and see us where we and our happy staff would be pleased to serve you !
