Quarry Garth near Windermere not a pub

I have been scratching my head about our listing for Quarry Garth near Windermere, as I know this part of the world pretty well and I was sure there is not a pub along this stretch of Ambleside Road (A591). I am going there next week but I thought I'd just do a Google maps virtual tour of the area first, to save time. I've found this image on street view, which looks to me like the name plate of this (former?) country house hotel. Whatever it was, it is definitely not a pub.
