Chichester (plus Branham and Yapton) Sat July 9th

I somehow clocked up 13 pints across 12 pubs during the day!

12 was it? I've tried a mental calculation a few times but somehow keep feeling I've missed one or two out!

Next stop was the Dolphin & Anchor but not a great selection of beers, I went for the Itchen Valley Fagins.

Didn't we all opt for the Fagins?

Next stop the Bull, most peoples Pub of the Day. 2 pints here (Hepworth Prospect and Arundel Special - lets!) before heading west to the Four Chesnuts. Mindboggling prices but a decent pint of Ballards Midhurst Mild.

Overall the pubs were a bit disappointing but I've probably been spoilt in recent weeks anyway. Still a great day out and I look forward to the next one.

Agree wholeheartedly with all those points. The Bull aside, there was a disappointing lack of local ales for the most part.

Somewhat vague, but I think I managed 11.5 over 9 pubs, before foolishly getting off at Croydon for a solo pint in the George, then over-shooting on the bus home. Should have stayed on to Clapham then change for W.Norwood, but I suppose sleeping on that would have left me further adrift. Two-pies Chas still holds our record - on train to Bristol after Reading crawl, he woke up in Exeter!

I had intended to trial a phone alarm every 3 hours for a pint of water reminder, but forgot.

Farway's Vestry was actually West's, Brakspear at £2.65, 2nd cheapest of expensive beer day. Great to meet our Portsmouth correspondent.

Talking of photos, I don't recall a team shot which was rather remiss of us, but look forward to whatever the snappers have to offer.
