    Default Alcohol-free beer...

...is ordinarily a contradiction in terms. But Aldi's AF wheat beer, from the [Dutch] Bavaria Brewery has won me over! Really refreshing, looks the business and doesn't have that 'empty' mouth feel of all other AFbeers I've ever tried. And at £1.99 for 8 cans, cheap as chips and great for drivers. Care to swallow your prejudices and try it?

But why would you do that if you're on a bike, Eric?

Andy Ven - curses on my older brother! What it is to live in his shadow...

And as for drinking and riding - I tend to spill most of it.

Just been to Aldi this morning, as part of the weekly shop. Would have bought some to try if I'd read this thread beforehand. I'll let you know what I think. Have you found it gives you a thick head at all? That's always been a problem for me with low/AF beers.

No side effects to date, but I tend to only have one or two as thirst quenchers.
