Yes, agreed. I managed to drag myself away from the Grove for long enough to visit all of the above, as well as the Head of Steam and the Cherry Tree.
I'm impressed that these pubs, which are all relatively close to each other, can get through enough beer to justify having around 8 ales on in each of them (mostly, I was pleased to see, from local micro brewerys). There must be some serious drinking going on up there - and why not?!

Not that good a week for beer really, especially new ones.

Having said that Adnams Lighthouse was very good in the City Arms in Manchester.

Coach House Gunpowder Mild in the Regal Moon almost won it.

But BOTW is going to be Orkney Corncrake Ale. Light & hoppy and a sensible 4.1% before I went on loads of dark milds.

A bit late to this thread. Had a stag do in Newcastle on Saturday and I only remember one beer of the 18 or so pints we had on the Saturday. That would be my beer of the week then, enjoyed in Bacchus.

Also a bit late - not that much to choose this (last) week - Top of the small pile for me though was Acorn Barnsley Gold at the magnificent Black Friar.
