O B's White Horse , Salisbury brought back some memories . Me and the mrs spent New year 12 or 13 yrs back touring around that area. We stayed two nights at the White Horse which then was an old fashioned hotel and bar. Very nice if under heated, but that week was freezing cold. It even froze the windscreen washer water when the car was on the move.
I suppose that like so many of the nice places I remember ,this has also been ruined in the name of progress and modernisation.

Always glad to be of service, Salisbury is a favourite city of mine, the White Horse shows some signs of former glory - a bit like some of us.
