    Default Royal Wedding Beers

I've just seen a pump clip for the first royal wedding beer I've noticed so far.

It's from Batemans and it's called Willy's Crown Jewels.

Haven't got the beer yet though.

Any more sightings of Royal Wedding ones?

Not yet brewed, and will be a special AFAIK in one pub or two local pubs only, by micro Havant Brewery

The name suggested was "Havant been invited" but may settle on "Havant eloped" as the first was thought to be too negative, I prefer the former, but then I am the final customer, not the landlady buying a barrel

I will let you know when it happens

    Gleaned from April's What's Brewing:

    Quartz - William Wins-her.
    Wold Top - I Will.
    Harveys - Royal Nuptial Ale.
    Ascot - Royal IPA
Brodies - Republic Revolution Red. (anti-Royal Wedding ale)

Have a guess which one I like the sound of?

Perusing the Bexley Beer Festival ale list Skinner's Kate Loves Willy immediately stands out. Ooh matron! Westerham also have one called Matrimoniale!

Shepheard Neame are doing a beer called Middleton To Windsor specially brewed for Lidl and in bottle at 99p.

Crossover to Bottled Beer Bargain alert as well, although I haven't seen it yet.
