    Conrad, this isn't a sticky yet.

    It's going to be a difficult decision this month and there's still nearly a week left. We've tried a few brand new bars in Manchester and three of them are in the running.

    Port Street Beer House is a well appointed new bar in the N/4. The staff are a bit smug though.

    The Molly House is a new 2 floored pub in the Gay Village with 4 cask ales, unusual for this part of town.

    Finally Gaslamp is a brand new cellar bar, again with cask ale.

    I think I'll leave the final decision until the 31st.

    Hmmm, yes should have stuck that.

    Just been away for a few days and got to try out the excellent Fox and Hounds in Theale (nr Reading). 5 ales and a cider on, I tried the Bishops Tipple and 6x. To be honest though the stand out feature was the food and service, really friendly and one of the best meals I have had in a while. Going to take some beating for me this month.

    I think you should review it as it doesn't have one yet. We trust your integrity.

    I am a coder, not quite as good at review writing, it would end up something like

    var foxandhounds = new pubreport;
    foxandhounds.realalepumps = 5;
    foxandhounds.ciderpumps = 1;
    foxandhounds.foodservice = true;
    foxandhounds.servicerating = 10;
    foxandhounds.visitagain = true;
    foxandhounds.extranotes = 'Apparently they are showing a Madonna tribute on April 2';

    Yep that works for me, all the required information is in there. Get it added.

    Visited a lot more pubs in March ,mainly as a result of boating down the River Lee,across London and then up the Grand Union.Popped in some old favourites,visited a few new ones but none really stand out.So my POTM is The Old Coffee House in Soho,a small traditional London boozer with well kept Brodies ales.It's been frequented by several PuG reviewers,and I endorse the positive comments.I am hard pressed to think of a better pub in the immediate area.

    I think the final decision is going to The Molly House.

    I always find this thread difficult as I could always go for the Wellington in Birmingham as it is my "local" (whenever I manage to have a few days at home!), but feel I should put a pub visited out of area that has impressed me for a reason.

    Liverpool had so many good pubs enjoyed for a variety of reasons and I could say the Swan for beer choice of the 20 pubs we visited one day although Ye Cracke is a comfy friendly pub to be in, and so many are worth visiting for their interior designs.

    York too has so many pubs to be enjoyed for various different reasons. We got round 15 in the few days spent there, and Maltings and Brigantes are always popular with us, New pubs we tried there were Junction a new brewpub, plusMasons and Old Mill's Victoria, were both lovely comfy pubs to be in. Can't miss out the Swan as it is close to the caravan site where we stay, and is a friendly pub with good ale. Can't single one out - sorry. Take your pick.
