11 of 15 (but should really have been 12, having realised I'd given an obviously dumb answer before seeing red appear).

I scored 9, only 3 of which were answered with any real confidence.

Was anyone else irritated by the question mark after each answer?

Hardly an inspiring quiz as the Isaac Wilson and Lambton Worm are no longer JDWs. I got 12 failing on the Sunderland questions and the US TV JD one. There was one total guess that was right.

Is the new one at Kings Cross still due to open next week?
Hope so as I am in London on the 6th.

Nobody seems to know for sure. It should be as most people have the opening date as the 01st October but they usually open on a Tuesday so it may be the 02nd. London Calling announced that it was two days ago but gave no indication as to where that info came from. I see it's the Millwall fixture. I've seen the stadium from the train but have no idea how to get there. There are loads of pubs around the area between Borough tube and London Bridge but I doubt if any of them are cheap nowadays.

Spoon's news page still has it as Mon 01 Oct, having quietly dropped the mention of 25 Sept.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

I marked it as open today on the strength of two things. It turns out today is the 150th anniversary of the station which explains the unusual opening date. The second is that it's showing on the JDW site as being open. I haven't been there myself and won't be going for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if it's even more expensive than the Victoria outlet.
