I can't remember the last time I had a pint of Ruddles and the lower price won't tempt me to have one.
It is great news for the daytime Spooners who occupy a prominent table in every one I have visited though. it will help to stretch the benefits money that little bit further!

PSM's review of The Rochester Castle (JD Wetherspoon) matches my experience of customers about six months earlier - I walked out and didn't write a review; cheaper beer will only make things worse, but as long as Mullet Martin is better off, that's ok then.

I was in the Wolverhampton one yesterday and didn't notice Ruddles being cheaper. It was £1.89 10p less than the Doom Bore (another worthless product). I have to say there was a table nearby with a couple of lager swilling oafs whose vocabulary was severely restricted as every other word started with "F" and they could.t even pronounce that properly!

Edit: It might be that the staff hadn't changed the pump price. The till price would have been updated automatically.

The most ridiculous thing is that he's trying to tie this price cut into having a No Deal Brexit.
I've a strong suspicion that JDW are ditching the cans of Sixpoint USA brewed beers which are Bengali and Lo Res IPA. This is probably more due to the sinking pound than any tariffs.

"Wetherspoon’s pubs will be cutting the price of all food and drink by 7.5 per cent on"
"In Scotland, prices will be reduced on all food, soft drinks, non-alcoholic drinks and hot drinks"

Absolutely, the B word should be banned among decent folk, I'm outraged everytime I hear the word Brexit.

I heard our beloved Prime Minister use the "S" word on BBC news recently from Parliament AND before the watershed. I say he should resign!
