Done those. No real losses there apart from the Percy Shaw which was a nice MoR Spoons with a decent view across the valley. Leased though, which I guess sealed its fate. Halifax could certainly support 2x Spoons based on my visit.
This is one of the better ones, probably because of the location, largely devoid of all-day drinkers with customers comprising underpaid criminal barristers.Penderel’s Oak, far too many.
Another one gone from Croydon - we had ten 'Spoons across the borough less than ten years ago, but are now down to the final three.
