Default North East Birmingham pub closures

Hi Conrad back from Mini (or was it mega..) crawl in Bham yesterday. I have noted down 4 pubs either closed or demolished. They are..

The Boldmere Oak - Closed and empty.

The Star Members Club - Demolished (Oh boy I was glad to see it go as it was eyesore!)

The New Inns - Closed and put up for sale

    The Old Roebuck - Closed

    Name correction

I dont know where its name come from but it always called simply as The Cup (I should know as I was born in the area)

    Hi Hopwas,

I have marked The Boldmere Oak, The Star Member Club, The New Inns, and The Old Roebuck as closed. And corrected the name of The Cup.

Thanks for all those and look forward to hearing about the crawl.

    Hi,

I am surprised The Old Roebuck is closed. I was in there in October and the place was jumping. It was absolutely packed with a DJ playing very loud music - and this was about 6.30 on a Monday evening.
You just never know I suppose !

    Cheers,

    Del.

I went to Old Roebuck to only found out it was closed. I had a look through window and it was laid bare. Luckily Charlie Hall was nearby.
