    Hi Hopwas,

I have been in some of the pubs you mention.

Bishop V - Pretty standard Wetherspoon
Charlie Hall - A larger Wetherspoon. An old bingo hall I think
Royal Oak - Decent locals pub
Red Lion - Classic building but a bit "tired" ! Seem to remember the bar being original and quite impressive.

I have yet to visit the other 4 but I hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Del.

    Hi Soupy!

Done pub crawl yesterday. Sutton (Via Wylde Green) and Erdington.

Oh boy.. Erdington is very dire place and dodgy place to drink especially The Acorn (Very Similar what you have described The Poets Corner in Willenhall )

Two Wetherspoon ticked off leaving The Hornets, Alum Rock Road only one yet to visit in non-Black Country area.

Reports coming on here later as I am recovering my sore head

Try Mordue's Newcastle Coffee Porter.. cracking pint!

Bishop Vesey is one of smallest W'spoon I have visited. (Wetherspoon near Bham library is smallest http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/55027/) but its staff is in top form. Nice conversatory at the back of room.
