Last night saw Ironbridge Citra , Titanic Choclate, Vanilla Stout , York Guzzler , Goff Tournament , Hobsons Town Crier and Hook Norton Double Stout .
The Titanic Choclate , Vaniila is wonderfull but Hobsons Town Crier is just shading it at the moment .

Not a bad week for me with Willam IV, LOSC, and managed to get to the Traf yesterday to catch that stunning performance (ahem!) at CoMS.

A mix of beer styles with the likes of Hop Ripper IPA (at Traf - Sheffield's "Brew Company" is new to me) and Brodie's Amarilla & Kiwi in the golden corner, whilst the dark side was represented by Hook Norton Double Stout (Wibbas Down Inn) and my botw Acorn Old Moor Porter (LOSC)

I just have to put Ringwood Old Thumper here as BOTW. It went down so well I could have drunk pints of it - well ok maybe not, but it is rare for me to want to stay in a pub and settle on one beer. This was perfection in a glass.

BOTW:- a choice drop of Durham Black Velvet; no-one quite knew if it was stout, porter or dark MILD, all we do know is it's dark and lovely.

Honourable mention to Adnams Gunhill another darkish beer.

Enjoyed a good Oscar Wilde Mild today but my BoTW goes to Fyne Ales Jarl
I've just joined Alcoholics Anonymous - I still drink, just under a different name.

Not the best beer week I've ever had, too many sub-standard beers.
BotW goes to Jaipur and even that wern't top class..........
Pubs are a hobby, real ale is a passion. Oh, and like me dogs, fear no evil..........

Another quiet week unfortunately. Worth a mention was Burton Bridge US Airmail, a light and drinkable pint at 4.5% and from a brewery that I've heard of but never drunk any of their beers. BOTW though goes to Oakham Tera, a special edition, amber in colour, full of flavour, well balanced but with that distinctive fresh citrussy background that seems to be an Oakham trait. Very easy to quaff, another Oakham trait.

My BOTW is also Fyne Ales Jarl - a lovely crisp, citrusy golden ale - perfect for a summer's day, but equally quaffable on a cold March evening.

Also enjoyed Milk Street Beer! and Kissingate Old Tale Porter.
