Found it in The Foot of the Walk, Leith, last night. No clip on the pump when we went in but while we were there a Hawkshead Cumbrian Five Hop clip went on. Just as we were about to go the clip was swaped or the Arundel Prize Fighter. Forced to stay for another beer.

Spoke to the manager of one of the local 'Spoons who I know quite well - he hadn't been able to get hold of a barrel of the Prizefighter. He reckons they didn't brew enough so it was only available to the bigger city centre 'Spoons.

Damnit! Saw it on at Wibbas Down yesterday but didn't realise it was the elusive one on the list. I'm afraid I didn't try it.

Well I'm still managing to tick 'em off. I didn't go into this Festival with my usual gung ho approach but have still managed to rack up 33 and with a couple of hours to kill tonight before the Big Country @ Shepherds Bush empire gig I should manage to get to 2 or 3 more 'Spoons in for a few more late ticks.

It is a close call between the Roosters Angry Yank IPA and the Feral Runt for my personal favourite at the moment but overall I have been very impressed with the selections for this Festival.

I managed too find the Arundel Prize Fighter During the week. I was amazed theres still a good few festival Ales on in the three Spoons I went in during the week for instance The New Crown had Five still on Tap and the Tally Ho had Three & the Gate House Three.
Don't You just hate Pubs that say
( We don't stock any Real Ales as theres Just no call for it.)

I have managed another 5 this week! Also a couple I forgot to notch up on the progress report so now just have 7 to go. Still no Prizefighter though.

Wasn't expecting much from my local 2 'Spoons tonight but managed to knock off the Daleside White Beer (excellent), Freemine Deep Shaft (a bit heavy) and by default, another pub in town had the Welton's Chocolate MIld. That just leaves 4 not including the ciders - a personal best by a long way!!!
