Are we talking WAP or full t'internet on a netbook or iPhone type thingy?
I don't find WAP very inspiring, value for money or user friendly so I don't bother. I don't have a netbook or iPhone but I don't think I'd use them much webwise, especially when I was drinking. I am not a luddite, honest, I just know email is the invention of the devil.
    WAP? is that a MILD?

Oooooooohhhhhhh, getting technical now are we .

I dread to think what the PG site would look like through WAP, the forum may be built to survive it (it has surprised me a few times already).

I agree with you completely though, WAP is a complete waste of time especially for a site like this. Trouble is that even the phones that do HTML like the iPhone only do it as a sort of sliding scale (for instance Flash won't work normally, so no photo upload), so goodness knows what various phones see or don't see of the site.

Also the site is built with 1024 screen width in mind which wouldn't be very stylish on a phone. I do wonder how cool it would be to be able to type in your review whilst you were in a pub. More realistically though people should just enjoy their pints whilst in the pub

WAP = Wibbley's Auld Pungent or something, but sadly not a mild.

the BOF in me says it's not cool (or polite if one is in company), I've had some funny looks, and worse, scribbling down written notes in some pubs. Looking like you're texting could be more acceptable these days

Sad isn't it, I have to admit shiny tech is enough to distract me any time, so the wouldn't it be cool comment stems from that, distressingly rude really.

Then again I could always do the texting it while I wait for the wife to come back from the bar with the drinks .

Anyway, no I never use my mobile to view tinternet. In fact I hardly use my mobile at all, and it's never turned on.
Perhaps if you found some pictures of scantily clad ladies your phone would be turned on?

My phone uses Operamini which gives me a the most real internet access I can find. Using that I've not had any trouble reading reviews on PG

Another one. Our server stats of these odd browsers are quite low, but I am going to have to keep an eye on them and think about taking them more seriously at some point.

I never view internet on my mobile, never felt the need to and can't honestly think of circumstances when it would be the solution I was looking for

But then I can hardly work the damn thing to make phone calls let alone the blue fang thing it has fitted

My text messages are crop* due to predictive text thingy that I am unable to turn off, well really more a case of can't be ar*ed to find out how

    * this is the sort of thing that happens on my phone, get crop instead of crap

Right. back to the day job of smashing up weaving looms

I only had this mobile for one month and already it is 100x better than my previous mobile. My old phone wont display pictures like ones in PG while my new phone DO display pictures without any problems.

From review website.. LG GT505 is a high speed connectivity device. The web browser of the phone is supportive to both HTML and XHTML and the 3G HSDPA technology uses them to provide flawless internet experience. Even you can enjoy wireless internet connectivity in LG GT505 as it features the technology of WLAN WifeŽ. Accessing the social networking websites like MySpace and Facebook is seamlessly with this phone. LG GT505 works with GSM tri band network that covers GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 along with HSDPA 2100 network for smooth 3G network coverage.

My guess in order to get better internet connection is to get new phone!
