Stupid Pub Names

Another stupid name.

Is this actually a pub?

My personal knowledge of this place dates back to the last Century (oh alright, the 1980s) and it was never really a pub - more of a nightclub. Not hat I want to re-ignite the debate on what should and shouldn't be included.

The last I heard it had closed down and re-opened as a venue for a specific sector of society as The Charles Street Bar. So either way, The Hungry Years is no more (unless it's recently been re-born) and should be either closed (prefereably - why spoil fond memories) or renamed.

I have no idea what this place is, or was, about. I just came across it whilst allocating locations to Brighton pubs.
