In my local there was a few Beers on from the Northumberland Brewery this week. I had Master Bates & Seaman Stains & Bucking Fastard and several other beers on Wednesday Evening I cant have no more this week as I'm working now seven days on now. So It was a toss up between Master Bates & Seaman Stains for beer of the week so I went for the Master Bates.

    Good session last night:

West Berkshire Brewery - Dr Dexter's Healer.
    Townhouse - Winter's Tale.
    Five Towns - Lucky7.
    Bateman's - GMA.
    Little Valley - Mellow Yellow.
    Cuerden - Cuerden Pale.
North Yorks Brew Co - Cosmic Glow.
    Moorhouses - Pendle Porter.
    Moles - Mole Catcher.
    Bank Top - Dark Mild.
    Saltaire - Crystal Red.
    Ossett - Excelsior.

Enjoyed the Pendle Porter, Winter's Tale and Dark Mild, but the Lucky7 was stunning and is in the lead so far.

After a dodgy time with the Beast, I'm glad to say that the Night Jar is back on song. Alewise that is, the service just gets worse.
The Beast got sorted out but my BotW is once again Young's Cornish Stout. The more I drink of it, the more I want..........
Pubs are a hobby, real ale is a passion. Oh, and like me dogs, fear no evil..........

My BOTW was Rusty Gun from The Old Cannon Brewery.A 4% malty brew, dark brown in colour and not normally the style of beer to get me quaffing, but this was very tasty .

Very glad to see that someone can produce a decent pint in Bury St Edmunds
