The Spread Eagle isn't a pub - it has been a restaurant for several years and the bar area is for those awaiting their tables. Shouldn't really be listed. Shame because it does look quite nice!

Actually I think it should still be listed - but as a closed pub, as it clearly is no longer a pub. We've got closed pubs on here that are now blocks of flats, warehouses, and all manner of places that don't sell drinks, so why not one that is now a restaurant?

If it used to be a pub yep it should be marked as closed. Where it is still open under the same name though I will delete it if there is no information on it to avoid confusion. Rather irritatingly this one has good pictures by Mason that are worth saving. To try and reduce confusion I have appended Public House onto the name.

Potential is still there for a complaint, but I think we have done enough.
