Can anyone who runs a pub help me out here..

Does a relief pub manager have a contract and if so what are the usual terms..duration/paydeal/notice to leave etc

I don't run a pub but in any business it's very unwise to employ anyone without a contract of employment. I would have thought most people used agency staff, where all of that is taken care of anyway.

When I was working as a wages clerk, I found ACAS very helpful with these sorts of queries.

I know a bloke off Facebook from uni who is now an agency pub manager. He has fixed term contracts.
