    This closed last Tuesday, Morrisey Fox Inns Ltd went into voluntary liquidation last Thursday owning over £ 3/4 million. This is separate to the micro-brewery business which is not affected. The pub was leased so it may reopen sooner or later.

    Hi oldboots,

    Marked The Punch Bowl Inn as closed. Not sure what I think of that, obviously a pity to see a pub go under, but I bet most publicans just dream of being able to invest £750,000 into their pub and have a TV show about it.

    According to today's local paper the pub is now open again.

    It is being run by the owners who had leased it to Morrisey-Fox.
