    I might give the person who wrote the following comment a nudge - We could do with someone reviewing all of the Cafe Rouges on here!

    In a French cafe, from what I can remember, you'll usually find a seat. You can get coffee instead of booze. And best of all, there are pinball machines.

    That said, the locals round my way do tend to be fat, bearded, morris dancing CAMRA types!

    One comment, that it's not so much our pubs we are losing as our locals, rang a bell with me. I think there is a lot of truth in that
    Pubs are a hobby, real ale is a passion. Oh, and like me dogs, fear no evil..........

    Theres a Pinball Machine and a Old style Table football in My local the Alexandra Arms In Fortis Green Muswell Hill Now the Ales not bad either was in there last night.

    There's still the occasional pinball machine to be found. I saw one in the New Town in Sutton the other day. So, if I want to play pinball I would prefer to spend my time in the New Town drinking Young's beers rather than a Cafe Rouge any day!
