Some Sheffield corrections (Ecclesall Road area)

The Jolly Buffer became a heavy metal bar called Classic Rock Bar a few years ago (2004/5?), but has since been demolished. Do you want to change the name before marking it as closed?

Stratford House Hotel is a bed and breakfast establishment and has no outward signs of ever having been a pub, so should be deleted.

I have searched Broomgrove Road for the Beech Guest House but there is no sign of it. All the buildings along here are either private houses with numbers or belong to Hallam University. Anyway, I suggest that there is a clue in the name and this entry should therefore be deleted.

Azzurri, 371-373 Ecclesall Road, has changed to Relish and now has Thornbridge beers available.

Hunter House Hotel, 685-691 Ecclesall Road, appears to now be a Buddhist Meditation Centre and World Peace Cafe. Even when it was a hotel, I'm not sure this was the kind of hotel that had a public bar, so perhaps it's best to delete it.

Roslyn Court Hotel was the former name of what is now The Psalter, on Psalter Lane. Can you please delete the former as a duplicate and add the street number 178-180 to the latter.

The Slug and Fiddle, 261 Ecclesall Road has changed its name to The Botanical. If only all these “Slug” pubs would do the same! Previously this pub was called The Varsity, so the latter is a duplicate entry that needs deleting.

The Westbourne House Hotel, 25 Westbourne Road is a provider of accommodation and food only. Their website http://www.westbournehousehotel.com makes no mention of a bar. Please delete.

We have changed the name of Classic Rock Bar and marked it closed, deleted the Stratford House Hotel and Beech Guest House, corrected the name of Relish, deleted the Hunter House Hotel, merged The Psalter listing, corrected the name of The Botanical, and finally deleted The Westbourne House Hotel.

However, I see that although you have moved the photo from Roslyn Court to Psalter, the listing of the former still remains. This needed deleting.
