Just bringing this across from the That Doesn't Go There Forum:
If we are working out if StreetView is possible then we may as well just show our own streetview map as it is probably a similar difficulty. I am not sure if it is possible to enable StreetView on our own maps (I will check that), but when StreetView came out I spent a couple of hours trying out the technology, and we can get it into the site at some point.
If you fancy a play have a look here. If you want to have a look at a pub you know have a look for it on our system and make a note of the number in the url, so the one you are looking at initially in the demo is the Hatchet. If you look at the web page url it is http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/411/, the number at the end is the important bit (411). So if there is a pub you want to try out, note down that number and put it in the box under the street view, then click on the button next to it.
StreetView is still in an early phase, so very few of the pubs will actually show on it, and some of them may be quite amusing, when I was playing I stumbled across The Bristol Flyer. Which in StreetView is a little mad, it has actually gone up a side street next to the pub and caught the graphiti on the side of the pub, if you go 2 clicks to the right it will make a lot more sense.
Anyway, it is certainly on the cards for when I rewrite the maps, and like the maps it is going to need a correct the view so that all the views look as good as the Hatchet example.
