I wouldn't get too excited unless you want a pint of Ruddles or Carlsberg!
It will cost me £3.50 in bus fare to reach my nearest JDW and a leg crossed journey with that bursting feeling for 45 minutes on the way back. I think I will stay with my Wye Valley Bitter at £2.00. No chance of a nasty "accident" that way.

Oddly it's £6.20 to go to a town 12 miles away but also £6.20 to go to another 30 miles away on the same route from the same start point

Ahh, the bus pass, mine opens up many a journey to far flung [like Chichester & Bognor] watering holes, but the cross legged journey home can be tricky, had to get off at Purbrook once just for a wee, which did give me a chance to review the two pubs thereWaiting in hope for my bus pass in March ....but then knowing what my luck is like
