I missed this thread first time round.
My Pub of the month for November was the William IV in Leyton. As the home of Brodie's beers I had high expectations for the place and I'm glad to say that they were met in all respects. Well worth the journey out of town.

Other contenders were The Falcoln in Clapham and the Crown and Magpie, Brentford.
My POTM for December is going to be The Knott in Castlefield, Manchester.
It's one of our regular watering holes in Manchester and it is never less than very good and usually excellent. It certainly was between Xmas & New Year.

A pub is for life not just for Christmas
I didnt get to that many pubs in December but my POTM was The Cask Pub and Kitchen,Pimlico. This was a very controvertial pub on another site that should remain nameless, with many friends and foes ; ultimately all reviews were scrubbed as many on here will be aware. My first visit was however very positive, and possibly to get the best out of this place in future ,I really should gen up on continental bottled lager or start saving for BrewDog's Tactical Nuclear Penguin, one of my favourite beer names from 2010.
For November I feel I'd have to go with a Birmingham pub, the best all round would be the Bartons Arms against very stiff opposition, BUT Ossett Brewery have opened a splendid pub in Knaresborough so it is the Cross Keys that beats the Midlands.
For December, a few contenders from post xmas away days but the Old Cock in Otley stands out as an excellent place for a few beers.
