As Oggy hinted, a very quiet week after the 'glorious 12th'. Only two contenders, Townhouse 'Styrian Pale' and the winner by a whisker Fernandes 'Double Decker Pecker'.

Another quiet week but looking forward to the London meet up to expand my drinking horizons.BOTW goes to Trashy Blonde from BrewDog in the unlikly surroundings of a GK branded pub,The Three Horseshoes,Willian. It didnt feel quite right to be drinking a golden ale at this time of the year but the other options were much less palatable.

A very quiet week on the ale-front, with only 6 pints consumed over a one-day period.

Cottage Somerset & Dorset Ale just about gets the nod this week ahead of Brodies Red and Purple Moose Glaslyn Ale.

Some goodies this week, not least the quartet of pints I had in Burslem (Titanic Steerage, Woods Quaff, Oakham Inferno and AN Other - I left my notes at home!). Tried another Old Dairy beer last night (Copper Top) - good but not as good as the Gold Top. Still getting a few remnants of 'Spoons festival ales, Oakleaf Wethers Original being the pick. This week's BotW though goes to one that I missed out on in the Barton Arms last week so I was happy to get another shot at it whilst in Burslem - Oakham Inferno.

Arbor Ales (again) Oyster Stout at a minifest in the Three Crowns Chippenham Friday was top notch but BATHAMS Mild in various outlets in the West Midlands on Saturday had to be the very best consumed. (15 pints Roger.....)
