A good beer week with the exception of some boring stuff in Pimlico apart from The Cask of course, however BOTW is going to Reading this week and The Nags Head with a Siren tap takeover, Siren The Night Market was exceptionally good and a style I'm very fond of, Export India Porter.

Next week we shall see what Cambridge has to offer.

    Thornbridge - Crackendale

It may have been the Jaipur had I tried that in Leeds' Bankers Cat, but it was still before noon and I had family to meet!

    Woodefordes -- Albion Stout
    Sharp's -- Doom Bar
    Thornbridge -- Jaipur IPA (keg)
    Greene King -- IPA
    Adnams -- Ghost Ship
    Sharp's -- Doom Bar (keg)

Some very interesting dark brews but BOTW goes to Yonder Coconut Avalanche,a highly unusual sour ,sharp as you like but with soothing coconut and a weird dark crimson colour, strong too.Take on keykeg in Bottle House.

Next week PuG crawl around Cambridge and some footie, should be good for beer.

    Wakefield.

Down to earth with a bump, after several sessions, last week.

Fernandes - Ale to the Tsar.*
    Tigertops - Swoony.
    Chin Chin - Waikana.
    Fernandes - Centennial.*
    Mallinsons - Amarillo.*
    Chin Chin - Shifting Sands.

An old favourite takes the honours, this week. Taken, unsurprisingly, at Luis Bar @ Fernandes.

A poor week, plodding the mean streets of Stockwell and Brixton:

    Harvey’s – Sussex Beast **½
    McA’s – East India Pale Ale **½
    Sambrook’s – Junction **½
    Timothy Taylor – Landlord **½

BOTW goes to Twickenham – Naked Ladies **¾ at The Barrel Vault (JD Wetherspoon)

    Limited:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Phipps Gold Star*
    Brunswick JD Juice*
    Byatt's Midnight Export*

All good but BOTW was Byatt's Midnight Export. A proper, rich 6% stout with hints of coffee and chocolate and another winner from a currently very reliable brewerey.
