Some variety helped by a thoroughly enjoyable visit to the Stars:

    Castle Rock Time Traveller
    Broadtown Line of Sight IPA*
    Broadtown Black Llama*
    Byatts Colonel Cocoa
    Brancaster Oystercatcher*
    Parkway Brewing Bronx Cheer
    Adnams Broadside
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Roman Way Autumnus

No surprise in a chilly week that BOTW goes to Broadtown Black LLama a 4.8% Baltic Porter with all the good stuff - chocolate, coffee and liquorice. A new brewery to me and this one drew me in to the 3 pint test which was successfully negotiated.

Our annual pre-Christmas wander round Skipton provided the beer, this week. Always a great atmosphere.

    Wishbone - Tiller Pin.*
Saltaire - Triple Choc & Cinder Toffee.
    Goose Eye - Bitter.
    North Riding - Superdelic.*
    Lamb - Bitter.
    Settle - Jericho Blonde.
    North - Vanishing Point.
    Reedley Hallows - NZ Pale.
    Lamb Pale.
    Craven - BAP.

Tiller Pin is always a cracking pint in the Boathouse bar, but it was just edged by the Superdelic in The Beer Engine. (Apparently, Superdelic is a NZ hop. I'd never heard of it before).

Possibly a bit contrived (a Blueberry, Almond and Fig Porter), but Brass Castle Hygge Figgy was absolutely delicious. Shame about the (mis)pronunciation though!
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

I had this last year. Certainly Christmas-themed but as you say, it's absolutely delicious.
