    Default A York tidying

I was looking at York and it looks like there's a few pubs in the outskirts that could be moved into existing areas plus a few that may benefit from a couple of new sub districts. There's also two pubs in villages far from central York that could do with shifting. He's what I think:

Put these pubs into the Acomb sub-district
    Acomb
    Ainsty
    Beagle
    Carlton

The Knapton sub-district could be incorporated with Acomb as there's only one field between them.

Put this one into Clifton - Lysander

    These into Huntington
    Fossway
    Yearsley Grove

A new sub district of Dringhouses (including Woodthorpe and Acomb Park) for these
    Dick Turpin
    Quaker Wood
    Turf Tavern
    Cross Keys
    Fox and Roman

A new sub district of Osbaldwick/Heslington for these
    Charles XII
    Magnet
    Derwent Arms
    Black Bull
    Beeswing

This pub is in a village near Malton and could go in Malton or its own new sub district of Malton - Blacksmiths Arms

This one could go in the Holme on Spalding Moor sub district of York or its own new Sub District of York - Black Horse.

    Hi ob,

We have moved The Acomb, The Ainsty, The Beagle and The Carlton to Acomb, Lysander Arms to Clifton, The Fossway and The Yearsley Grove Hotel to Huntington, The Dick Turpin, The Quaker Wood Inn, The Turf Tavern, Cross Keys and The Fox and Roman to Dringhouses, the Charles XII, The Magnet, The Derwent Arms, The Black Bull Hotel and The Beeswing to Heslington, The Blacksmiths Arms Inn to Westow and The Black Horse to Seaton Ross.

    Thanks for all those.

Thanks Conrad, that makes the city centre a bit clearer, I would have named the new sub district Osbaldwick rather than Heslington as the Charles XII is the only pub in Heslington the others are Osbaldwick, full of bloody students anyway .

I also just noticed a duplication, http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/62653/ and http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/66569/, the address is probably 8-10 Little Stonegate.

The Deramore Arms, which I just got round to adding, also seems to be firmly in Heslington.

Absolutely right, shows how often I go that way.

I only chose Heslington as it showed when you zoomed out of the map and I didn't see Osbaldwick. Hopefully in the next couple of months I will sort out the region change that is planned and we can just put all relevant locations against the pub.
