Kent:circumstances conspired to knock our planned visit to Surrey Oaks on the head, but providentially a Surrey beer was available here in Kent.
Surrey Hills-Shere Drop 4.2% abv. Last pint out of the cask-proof of cellaring skills at this venue- Larkins' Alehouse, my BOTW.

I think it was Sunbeam - Blinded By The Light, in the Oxnoble in Manchester. Memory is a bit hazy after many birthday drinks!

Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier - Marzen
A good beer week with at least six or seven worthy of first place, BOTW is Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier - Marzen, don't ask me to pronounce it but an eye opening beer that tastes of the smokey embers of a burnt out bonfire, Yum. Taken in The Ten Tun Tap House

This week:
Purity Longhorn IPA*
Tring Raven King (keg)
Verdant Headband (keg)*
Vale Gravitas
Cobra Malabar (keg)
Dark Star Hophead
Fullers ESB*
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
The Gravitas and Hophead were disappointing. Gravitas because it was served without a sparkler and was flat as and Hophead because it just isn't what it was.
Never had the Longhorn IPA on cask and it was very good but BOTW goes to Fullers ESB. In great condition and just what was needed on a chilly evening. Three pints? Oh yes.

A mixed bag but BOTW goes to an old favourite Fuller's ESB

Fernandes - Malt Shovel Mild.*
Fernandes - Quantum.
Fernandes - Half Nelson.
Rat - Queen Rat.*
Fernandes - Mr Brian.
Horbury - Pale to the Chief.
Chin Chin - Moving Target.
BOTW goes to an old favourite. Still one of the best milds out there, when it's on form. Taken, appropriately, at Luis Bar @ Fernandes.
