A pub is for life not just for Christmas
A return to The Plough Inn was rewarded by the welcome sight of two Goacher's beers on the bar. Good to see a busy pub.

I hadn't visited Boons, Horbury since well before Covid, so I'd forgotten what a friendly, lively local it is. Great atmosphere when we called on a Friday teatime and the three beers I tried were in excellent nick. Well worthy of its GBG 2024 listing.

The Crow Inn, Not the most famous, probably not even the best, but it just felt right and demanded two visits over two days.
