A return to The Plough Inn was rewarded by the welcome sight of two Goacher's beers on the bar. Good to see a busy pub.

Six above average new pubs this month:

    The Birkbeck Tavern
    The Boot Inn
    The Coach & Horses
    The Country House
    The Northcote Arms

If only for the interior, POTM goes to The Spread Eagle.

I hadn't visited Boons, Horbury since well before Covid, so I'd forgotten what a friendly, lively local it is. Great atmosphere when we called on a Friday teatime and the three beers I tried were in excellent nick. Well worthy of its GBG 2024 listing.

Well it wouldn't be for the beer.

    Well Sheffield had to feature.
The Crow Inn, Not the most famous, probably not even the best, but it just felt right and demanded two visits over two days.
