    Goacher's-Fine Light Ale 3.7%.Peppery wholesomness.
Goacher's-Best Dark Ale (AKA Original) 4.1%abv.Forty years of earthy goodness.Nostalgia in a glass. My BOTW.

Very quiet week with just Oakham Bishops Farewell* on cask.

So, to maintain variety, BOTW goes to Marble Ancodia. A canned, 4.5% session IPA which surpassed expectations.

Just the one beer had this week.

    Theakstons Olde Peculier.

Several in the Lion on Blakey Ridge before a huge steak&ale pie stopped me in my tracks.

    Crete,Hertford and Carshalton.

    Mythos -- Lager (keg)
    Alpha -- Lager (keg)
    Fuller's -- London Pride
    Surrey Hills -- Shere Drop
    Moor -- Resonance
    Marble -- Manchester Bitter * (3PT)
    Drop Project -- Choppy *

The Mancherster Bitter proved to be a great session ale but BOTW goes to Drop Project Choppy ,a smooth Irish stout on NBSS 4.5 form in The Hope,a fine pub with a big mix of customers and ages where everyone was really hitting the ale, great to see a proper boozer in all it's pomp.

Next week boating in Warwickshire.and some footie.

    Bow, Hackney and King's Cross:

    Adnams - Ghost Ship **½
    Five Points - Gold *1/2
    Five Points - XPA **
    Fyne Ales - Avalanche *¾
    Gun - Best **
    Hobsons - Bitter**
Kent - Kent Golding Bitter *½
    Marble - Ginger ¼
    Mighty Oak - King **
    Purity - Mad Goose **½
    Southwark - Ariana **½
    Timothy Taylor - Landlord **½

A rather dull week with some poorly conditioned beers, so no BOTW.
