A one-post rant about the food, tells us nothing about the pub.
At risk of opening a can of worms (or at least a new thread in Chit-Chat), and with my full apologies to Gill and our other lady members, it seems to be mostly females who fall into this category - if I'm right, I wonder why, and if I'm not, I wonder what made me think it.

Ralph Dixon does have a fair point. If the prolific reviewers comments had been their first review, it would have been deleted as a "rant" and not a review.
A bit of a rant about Hoops in Bassingbourne, no pub deserves this type of review.
Same person back at the Hoops, this time with a toned down rant she thinks will get through. I think "you'd be better choosing any other pub in the area" still fails the test though, when she hasn't reviewed any other pub in the area. How can she know all the others "will definitely be better"?

We steer clear of editing reviews as it has a tendency to escalate things more than if we simply delete. I don't think the comment at the end of the review makes it worth deleting. It is one where I wouldn't be surprised to see another review popping up taking a dig at PH however, so will try to keep an eye on it.
PH was notified of that being the case. Again we aren't going to take responsibility for editing.

At least the second attempt didn't cross any lines legally, but ultimately still just a complaint, so gone now.
