Hi Conrad / Admins,
Frank Morris gives a poor review of the Fifield Inn in Maidenhead then urges people to visit the White Hart which he has'nt reviewed.
Looking at Frank's reviews, seem there is not much to like in Maidenhead except a JDW. Never been there, maybe it is all frank & honest reviewing. But as Al says, seems a shame never reviewed alternativeOriginally Posted by Al 10000

Much as it is annoying when users do that in reviews we tend to act on it more if it is just a one drop review as it is a clear sign of either someone with an axe to grind.
In this example it appears to be the users style of reviewing as they have mentioned nearby pubs in other reviews. I suspect that given time they may well even add their review of the White Hart. On balance I have decided to leave this review on the site.
Unsubstantiated allegation of possible peculation, or at the very least incompetence. Could be considered libellous, I think.

Yeah I think that one had crossed the line. Much as they didn't state activities were happening on the premises there was definitely that implication. Thanks for that.
