I was tempted to leave it as they had done other reviews, but they failed my first test. When someone says we now eat at x, if you haven't reviewed x, then I am pretty much going to delete your review out of spite .

Not a review but a gripe about which county this pub is actually in. The pub's page quite clearly states "Northamptonshire", although the postal town Market Harborough is of course in Leicestershire, so what they've written is understandable. Anyway, there's no need for a correction but please delete the "review" and point the user in the direction of this forum.

I think this is one for Trading Standards based as it is on legal niceities like the difference between "invitation to treat" and "implied contract".

I'll be a little pompous and say David quigley('s) (sic) crimes against the English language don't detract from the argument but they shouldn't be here. An email suggesting contacting Cumbria Trading Standards may be a way to go.

A review is a review. As this one stands it provides some information about what sort of pub it is and what sort of experience one might encounter. So I say let it stand.
