A gentle wander round Halifax provided most of this week's beers. I even managed to pick up four new pubs in the process.

White Rabbit - White Pale Ale.
    Rat - White Rat.
Anthology - Extra Hopped Session Pale.*
First Chop - DDH (Citra & Eldorado).*
Anarchy Brew Co. - Blonde Star.
    Thornbridge - Astryd.*
    Vocation - Chop & Change.
    Ossett - Cluster.

A pretty good bunch, overall, but the Astryd and the Anthology pale were the two that really stood out. The former just shades it. Taken in The Upper George.

    Gun - Project Babylon
Kelham Island - Pale Rider **¾
    Sambrook’s - Lavender Hill **½

    Siren - Session IPA
    Southwark - Routemaster Red *¼

    Timothy Taylor - Landlord **½
    Twickenham - Naked Ladies **½
    Twickenham - Red Sky *½
    Volden - Session **½
    Windsor & Eton - Eton Boatman **

BOTW goes to Twickenham - Honey Dark **¾ at The Coronet.

Found at the Poppleton Beer Festival: Two by Two Porter a clear favourite.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
