A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Kent:
Kent-Kashmir IPA 5%abv:Hazy IPA.Tropical fruit,herbal lemon,spice.In great condition.I think this is a different beer to Kent's Cashmere (abv 4.5%),that was tried a couple of years back.My BOTW.
"At that moment I would have given a kingdom, not for champagne or hock and soda, or hot coffee but for a glass of beer" Marquess Curzon of Kedlestone, Viceroy of India.
Taking advantage of the garden and the weather to enjoy some cheap craft.
Thornbridge/North - North Bridge IPA. A supposed cross between the west and east coasts take on the IPA.
BOTW Purity Lawless Lager. Very welcome on a hot day.
"Beer is food." Morse, Colin Dexter
Just a handful of pre-curry swifties, this week. Pub time is very limited, at the moment.
Townhouse - Megs Mild.
Mallinsons - Melon Opus.*
Wensleydale - Black Dub.
Sunbeam - Changeable.
Easy winner was the Melon Opus. Taken in Harry's Bar.
'And where he supped the past lived still. And where he sipped the glass brimmed full' John Barleycorn, Carol Ann Duffy.

Tetley's Bitter 3.7% Black Rock, Wakefield
A tussle between American Five Hop, one of my favourite beers of the last couple of years; Acorn Barnsley Bitter at the Bath Hotel, my nearest regular haunt; and the superb Tetley's at the Black Rock in Wakefield. As I told the licensee, it was the best Tetley's I've had since the brewery in Leeds was abandoned. He's well aware how good it is, as he fired back "Best Tetley's in Yorkshire!" And I had three pints of it, so that has to be my beer of the week.
Come On You Hatters!
