Hobgoblin Gold in the White Horse, Aberystwyth. The pub is massively changed from uni days 20 years ago when it was a typical student place called Varsity.

This week more visits to Aberystwyth, Machynlleth, Borth and perhaps a drive out to Brecon.

    Oxfordshire/Northants borders.

    Sharps -- Doom Bar
    Inbev -- Stella (keg)
    Marston's -- Bass
    Slaughterhouse -- Saddleback (3PT)
    Timothy Taylor -- Landlord

Poor drinking options with BOTW by default going to Slaughterhouse Saddleback ,a very standard bitter and only passing the three pint test in The Wharf due to dehydration while boating and lock working on (finally) a sunny day.

Next week another quiet one saved by the footie.
