Twelve new pubs in May took me throught the century to 104 year to date.June includes the week long booze cruise with new tick potential in Stourbridge ,Kidderminster and Bromsgrove.

You lucky Fastard! An excellent drinking area (and the canalling is not too shabby either!)
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

Some great places in Stourbridge and Kiddy. Right on my doorstep. Waiting for The Crafty Jar to open. You might beat me to it!

A weekend jaunt by the seaside (beside the sea) has elevated me to flirty 30 for the year to date.

That's the plan, but my GP wants to get some blood tests first.

Better to be on a drug for life than suffer gout attacks!

I usually get advice to cut out red meat. I've been vegetarian for over 40 years!

After what I went through for nine-and-half years due to an NHS misdiagnosis, yes.

Sorry to hear that Will, do you get regular gout episodes? I'm a sufferer myself though, touch wood, I haven't had a bad one for quite a while.
I tend to take naproxen if I feel an attack coming on and used to try a natural 'preventive' from goutcare, though probably not consistently enough to decide whether it worked or not.
I note the later advice here regarding allopurinol, but my main medicine should be lots more water - unless it also contains hops and barley I drink hardly any, other than with my daily cocktail of tablets, thyroid, blood pressure etc
