    Mobberly Elysium IPA

BOTW North Cotswold Winter Solstice. A deep ruby, nearly black, malty 4.5% number with a moreish bitter finish. Perfect for a damp autumn afternoon.

    Hertford and King Cross.

    Northern Monk -- Little Faith
Crouch Vale -- Brewers Gold *
Mighty Oak -- Oscar Wilde MILD *
Mighty Oak -- Cascade IPA *
    Timothy Taylor -- Landlord
    Dark Star -- Hophead (> 3PT)
Dark Star -- Xpresso Milk Stout *

Two decent sessions but a clear BOTW in Mighty Oak Cascade IPA ,a proper strong ,rich and complex IPA in fantastic nick fresh on in The Old Cross Tavern.

Next week lunch in Baldock and a day in Rugby could throw up some quality .

Very late, this week. After two weeks of antibiotic cover for a nasty abscess (where alcohol was contra-indicated), I was dying for a pint.

    Lords - Midnight Ramble.*
    Fernandes - Cascade Torrent.
    Tigertops - Session Bitter.*
    Revolutions - Switch #28.
    Small World - Port Nelson.*
Ossett / Green Duck - All Cask No Brakes.

A fairly good batch, but the Midnight Ramble, a decent mild, barely touched the sides after a fortnight of Beavertown Lazer Crush and Erdinger Blue.
