    Answer time:

Shouldn't 2 be Centurian's Ghost to be the actual ale name?

Centurion's Ghost Ale, to use the GBG listing. Guilty as charged. I was a bit sloppy there! Everybody locally just calls it Centurion.

Strangely, everybody at the brewery calls it Ghost and the pump clip kind of supports this.

Looking at the clip, I can see why. I'm just wondering if that's the original though? I have a feeling that the wording was previously given equal prominence, on earlier versions. However, the last time I drank it was in Mr Foley's, Leeds, and that was ages ago, so I can't remember with any certainty.

At the end of the day, I cocked up and it's a lesson learnt in case I do another one. Moving swiftly on....

I am useless at these coupled with knowing no beers so way to hard for me , thought it was a fantastic idea though.

All the pumpclips for York brewery changed when folk bought into brewery as an investment from the west coast somewhere.

Ah yes Gill, that makes sense. If I remember rightly York Brewery is technically owned by Mitchells of Lancaster, but trades as though still independent.
