As some of you may know I’m a bit of a crossword nut and compiled a couple of these over on the ‘dark side’. Basically, you have to unravel the ten anagrams to reveal a brewer and a beer e.g. Timothy Taylor: Landlord (7,6:8). Spellings are as listed in the Good Beer Guide. Therefore, like Timothy Taylor, there may no ‘s’. I’ve tried to draw the beers from far and wide and managed to incorporate one or two contributors’ names in the clues. Will post the answers in a few days, assuming they haven’t been solved. Enjoy.

1. Keg? It’s solvent, sir! (6: 6,4).
2. Runny. Re-cook it. (4: 8).
3. Paraded shark? Hot! (4,4: 7).
4. HONDO’s limbs. (7: 4).
5. Mock nightmarish glen pub. (7: 6,9).
6. Lacklustre, can’t be pils. (2,7: 5,6).
7. ROB, feeling old, found ale. (9: 6,6).
8. ‘Tenth ale!’ growled ROGER. (10: 3,7).
9. Line-up RPADAM, wee solo soon. (6,5: 9,3).
10. Mawkish ale flaps hero ‘OB’. (6: 7,8).
