I've managed to add an image before, but with the paperclip attachment tool.
If I use the picture frame you mention, the option only offers "Please enter the URL of your image:" (http:// ....) with no prompt to 'select files' or to find the image from my computer archive.

Another one that looks to be doing the right things.

Makes you aware of what has changed and what they're trying to do and hasn't left a rating.

We'll be in Sheffield in a couple of weeks so we'll call in for a look. It needed a change as the whole place was getting a bit tired last time we called in.

I agree with Rob - it's a good description which doesn't pretend to be a review.

Would there be any merit in giving landlords the ability to highlight their own entires, maybe by having a different background colour or surround? Or wouldn't it be worth it?

I suppose there would have to be a certain amount of trust involved, but unlike other sites, I think this one is sufficiently well moderated - and the majority of users are intelligent enough - to spot a fake early enough for there to be no real damage. I can see there would be othyer problems, more work for the admins etc, but it was just a thought.

That's the sort of intelligent comment a new landlord should leave - I will deinitely pop back in next year when I have my annual Derbyshire holiday!

The problem as Strongers says is of how to identify them and how to promote the service to them.

With this in mind it is part of what we hope will be an enhanced service for the site in the future, hopefully paying for all the maintenance of the site.

I see no problem with the Red Deer review. They say who they are and give the potential visitor some good solid info about the pub. It is some time since we were there, but that review will tempt us back to judge for ourselves. No rating left which is fair enough for the pub tennants.
