    Default Self Promotion - Success

This guy tells it as it is I suspect and didn't even leave the usual rating of 10.

    Good luck to him.

    Yes I thought that too.

May be able to test it out as I have relations in North Bedfordshire and this village is just off the Bromham road on route.

Will be worth the detour next time I'm visiting if a pint in here makes you a good person, as advertised.

What? No CAPS LOCK, no !!!!! Seriously though, that strikes me as an almost model promotion from a landlord. I wish him well.

It is an interesting one, it is worth looking at his reviewing history.

As pointed out a fantastic self promotion review, and exactly what we love to see, odd though that for 5 years he has been one of my personal hates a 1 drop complainer.

Yes I noticed that. Perhaps he doesn't like to review other places as he's a landlord, but that one was so bad he couldn't resist.

And given that he tells it like it is on his own pub................

Maybe he was so incensed with his visit to the De Parys that he decided to change his career path and it's taken 5 years to hone his talents to become the best landlord in the land.

Maybe, shame he didn't encounter any pubs so good that he couldn't resist (sorry but it is my pet peeve).

Perhaps a " Road to Damascus" event altered his life and he is now converted. Either the donkey threw him or he trod on an IED, whatever, he has seen the light.

I don't disagree with you Conrad.

    This one annoyed me.

She flags my review as not useful, slags off the pub (for being too clean )and then compliments a similar place in Dewsbury but then doesn't review it.

I suspect this woman has a hidden agenda.
